1.4M Vote Early, Apply for Absentee Ballots

COLUMBUS, Ohio – More than 1.4 million Ohioans have either voted or applied for absentee ballots three weeks before Election Day, Nov. 6, the secretary of state, Jon Husted, announced Wednesday.
“We’re two weeks into early voting and the elections process is running smoothly across Ohio,” he reported.

F.N.B. Corp. Declares 12¢ Cash Dividend
Thursday, October 18, 2012HERMITAGE, Pa. – The directors of F.N.B. Corp., parent of First National Bank of Pennsylvania, Wednesday declared a cash dividend of 12 cents per share payable Dec. 15 to shareholders of record Dec. 3.
Shares of F.N.B., with assets of $11.8 billion, closed yesterday at $10.78 on the New York Stock Exchange, up 18 cents from Tuesday’s close.

As Others Exit Trumbull County, BP Is Staying
Wednesday, October 17, 2012VIENNA, Ohio – BP says that the company is committed to its position in Trumbull County for the long-term, and expects to start drilling its first well in April, its spokesman says.
"We're still very optimistic about this play," said Curtis Thomas. "We will be drilling in April and we hope that the rocks show us some very good things for this area."
Thomas emphasized BP is keeping to its strategy of developing acreage it holds in Trumbull County, just as other energy companies are pulling out and repositioning their assets to potentially more lucrative areas of the state.
