Company Fitness Centers Enhance Wellness Programs

An employee since 2004 at the General Motors Co. Lordstown Complex where she works in the trim department on the door line, Lapushansky works out 40 minutes per day – 20 minutes during lunch as well as during 10-minute breaks – at the onsite fitness center in the plant.
Rain Doesn’t Halt Kickoff of $100M Tower at St. E’s
Thursday, September 27, 2012BOARDMAN, Ohio -- Because God used his aspergillum so freely Wednesday, the groundbreaking scheduled for the seven-story patient tower at the St. Elizabeth Health Center here had to be moved inside. There, in a packed Azalea Room, the Rev. John Trimbur used his aspergillum to sprinkle holy water on the architects’ renderings of the $100 million structure and bless the enterprise.
Yesterday’s ceremony, as the president of the St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center, Genie Aubel, allowed, was the first time a groundbreaking was held inside.

Sharon Regional CEO Resigns; Janoso Moves to Top Spot
Tuesday, September 25, 2012SHARON, Pa. -- John R. “Jack” Janoso Jr. has been promoted to president and chief executive officer of Sharon Regional Health System following the resignation of Linde Finsrud Wilson, who was appointed CEO in August 2011.
Janoso was Sharon Regional’s president and chief operating officer. His promotion was announced Monday by Robert Jazwinski, chairman of the board of directors.
Youngstown Lions Collecting Eye Glasses
Monday, September 17, 2012YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- Members of the Youngstown Lions Club are busy collecting eye glasses to send to people in need. They will be picking up the used glasses from drop-off boxes located throughout the Mahoning Valley.
The glasses are given to Uniontown Lions Recycling Center where the glasses are checked to make sure they can be recycled. Recyclables are placed in a machine to tell what the prescription is, after which the glasses get cleaned and sorted according to the prescription.
