Judge Lifts Restraining Order on Pipeline Project
Tuesday, July 24, 2012YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – A federal judge in Akron has dissolved a temporary restraining order that stopped a Carroll County pipeline project in its tracks two weeks ago.
The ruling, issued late Friday by U.S. District Judge John Adams, allows CBC Services Inc. to proceed with connecting some 1,000 feet of pipe to a well on land owned by Joseph Coniglio.
"I think we had some strong points, but the judge didn't agree," Coniglio said. "He agreed to let Chesapeake intervene and lifted the restraining order."

She said that there are conflicting news reports iabout how much wastewater was lost when a tank being transported from an injection well spilled brine along Warner Road Saturday.
New Drilling Permit Issued for Columbiana County
Wednesday, July 18, 2012COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio Department of Natural Resources has issued a new permit for a natural gas well in Columbiana County, according to state records.
A horizontal drilling permit was awarded to Oklahoma City-based Chesapeake Exploration LLC on July 12 in Fairfield Township at the Mellinger farm, ODNR reported Tuesday.
