McDonald’s Manager in Warren Wins Ray Kroc Award
Wednesday, February 06, 2013WARREN, Ohio – Edward Taylor, manager of the McDonald’s restaurant at 2487 Parkman Road, has been recognized with the fast-food chain’s Ray Kroc Award.
The award recognizes the top 1%, or 141, of McDonald’s restaurant managers throughout the world, a McDonald’s spokeswoman says. Taylor learned of the recognition Monday afternoon during a break when the owner/operator of the restaurant, John Perdue, store staff and members of his family surprised him with news of his honor.
Butler Institute Celebrates Black History Month

In the program is the display of a mural created in 1989 by retired Youngstown State University art professor and the first chairman of what today is the department of Africana studies, Al Bright.
