Sales of Vacation Homes Climbed Last Year
Wednesday, April 03, 2013AUSTIN, Texas -- The market for vacation home in 2012 showed continued signs of strength as measured by sales, with a 10% increase in sales from the year before and a 24% increase in the median sales price. This was the first increase in three years.
The primary reason for buying a vacation property last year, cited by 38% of respondents in a survey by the National Association of Realtors, was low real estate prices, which has grown 5% from 2011. Another 28% cited the desire for a family retreat.

February was the fourth time in the last five months that the index stood below 100, which signifies contraction of key industry indicators.
Chevrolet Cruze Sales Rise 7.7% in March
Tuesday, April 02, 2013YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- Sales of the Lordstown-built Chevrolet Cruze rose 7.7% during March, as the domestic auto industry turned in some of the best numbers its seen in six years.
General Motors Co., Ford Motor Co. and Chrysler Group LLC all reported gains during the month compared to the same period last year, spurred by lower interest rates and healthy incentives.
GM reported it sold 245,950 new vehicles during the month, the highest March sales it's experienced in five years. Sales at the Detroit automaker rose 6% during the month.

UNIST is one of Asia’s leading technology schools, and many consider it to be the MIT of South Korea, according to YSU's announcement.
The core focus of the YSU-UNIST relationship will center on research involving electric vehicle technologies.
