In Ellsworth, 91% of the land is used for agriculture and has “a wealth of resources for the equine industry,” Lewis said, including farms to produce hay and grain, breeders and trainers, stables and even 4-H students who could come in and help exercise the horses. “It’s an exciting agricultural boost for the area,” the Ellsworth Township trustee said.
YSU Engineering Students 'Flex' for Hynes Industries

Thursday as they presented innovative designs and projects manufactured from one of the long-standing products of the steel service center.

Home Savings Gives $100K to Boardman Booster Club
Friday, April 12, 2013BOARDMAN, Ohio -- The Home Savings Charitable Foundation has given $100,000 to the Boardman Booster Club Inc. that will help the club lay the most advanced artificial turf in the sports complex at Boardman High School.
Home Savings’ gift should “act as a catalyst for the project,” said William Bonte, president of the booster club. Its long-term goal is to raise $4 million, entirely through private contributions, to build a new football stadium in stages.

Grace Woods Senior Living Sued for Wrongful Death
Friday, April 12, 2013YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- The law firm of Anzellotti, Sperling, Pazol & Small has filed a wrongful death suit against Grace Woods Senior Living on behalf of the estate of Eva Gorosics, who died of hypothermia April 9, 2012, after wandering away from her room at the Niles assisted living facility.
In announcing the litigation, the law firm cited findings by Ohio Department of Health. Gorosics, who was 84 years old and suffered from Alzheimer’s disease, left the facility and was found dead in the parking lot at approximately 6:40 a.m. that day, according to the ODH report.

McFadden, Class of 1984, set or tied record after record as the place kicker on the YSU football teams of 1980 to 1983, including the longest field goal at 54 yards, but kicked only one game winner – in 1981 against Middle Tennessee State.
