Retraction
Friday, March 15, 2013YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- In an article that appeared in the March edition of The Business, and online Feb. 27, we incorrectly reported that Chesapeake Energy ended a relationship with D&L Energy following the 2011 earthquakes. Chesapeake has never had any business dealines with D&L or its affiliates, Hardrock Excavating and Mohawk Services.
The mistake was quickly corrected Feb. 27 when it was drawn to our attention but at that time, our print edition was already in the hands of subscribers. We published a retraction on Page 3 of the MidMarch edition of The Business Journal.
