Vallourec 'Very Cautiously' Watching Oil Prices

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- Tube producer Vallourec says it is watching the oil market "very cautiously" as it monitors customer demand in the wake of plummeting oil prices that have manufacturers and energy exploration companies scrambling to adjust.
"We are looking at oil price trends very cautiously and closely monitoring our customers' activity," the French company said in a statement released Wednesday. "The oil and gas sector, is by nature, cyclical. We've adapted to similar cycles in the past and will adapt to the evolution of the demand."
VLT Wagers at Racino Total $268M Through December

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Patrons wagered $268.4 million at video lottery terminals at Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course through December, the Ohio Lottery Commission reported.
Bettors at the Austintown racino played $68.9 million in credits on the VLTs last month, including $537,461 in promotional play credits. according to the monthly VLT reports released Wednesday. That was up from the $66.9 million in VLT revenue during November. Patrons in November wagered $388,327 in promotional play credits in November.
Millwood's Vienna Plant Makes Old Pallets New

VIENNA, Ohio -- Everything gets used and reused at Millwood Inc. At the wood products and packaging company center here, anything sent there will be reused in one way or another.
“We utilize any pieces of the pallets that are broken or taken off during the refurbishing process,” says Ben Timmons, manager of business development for Millwood Natural, the division of Millwood that creates products for the oil and gas industry. “We can use those as sawdust that gets put into the silt socks. It minimizes the products that go to landfills when there’s still use for them.”
Kutlick Expects to Name New Tiffany Square Tenant

BOARDMAN, Ohio -- Kutlick Realty LLC said it expects to make an announcement soon on a new retail tenant for the renovated Tiffany Square Plaza.
The company reported its expectations in a new release Tuesday that noted the grand opening there Monday of Hobby Lobby, which relocated to the shopping center where it occupies in 55,000 square feet. The craft retailer joins Fin Feather Fur Outfitters, which opened there last year, and other tenants including Michael Alberini's Restaurant & Wine Shop and Muscle Connection.
New Retailer, Upgrades on Tap at Southern Park

BOARDMAN, Ohio -- The Swedish clothing retailer H&M will join the mix of tenants at Southern Park Mall, Simon Property Group announced this morning.
H&M, known for its fast-fashion clothing offerings for women, men, teenagers and children, will occupy 18,000 square feet in the Sears concourse of the mall. The store is tentatively scheduled to open in early summer.
Additionally, two of the mall’s current tenants -- Victoria’s Secret and American Eagle -- will undertake changes this year.
