It's a great thing you're doing," the motorist told businessman Herb Washington.In November, Washington bought the Central Hockey League franchise that will play in the convocation center.

Tuesday.So are the downtowns of many cities with nearby urban campuses, they said. What can set downtown Youngstown and YSU apart, Morrison said, is even closer cooperation between YSU's Campus 2010 planners and the city's Youngstown 2010 planners."YSU does its planning. The city does its planning. There needs to be closer cooperation," Morrison stated.
'Business' is Job of Choice for Teens
Tuesday, January 25, 2005COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- For the third consecutive year, teens selected a career in business as their ideal job, according to a new Junior Achievement Worldwide "Interprise Poll." "Business" occupations received 9.7% of the responses, "doctor" and "teacher" each received 6.2%, and "entertainer" received 5.7%. Owning their own business appeals to 68.4% of students, the survey found. Male students are much more inclined to be entrepreneurs (74.1%) than their female classmates (62.9%).
Sky Financial Group Nets $194.4M for 2004
Tuesday, January 25, 2005BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -- Net income for 2004 at Sky Financial Group Inc.was $194.4 million, or $1.93 per diluted share, up 24.1% and 11.6%, respectively, from 2003, officials reported earlier today. Fourth-quarter net income of $49.3 million, or 46 cents per diluted share, compares to $41.5 million, or 45 cents per diluted share for the fourth quarter of 2003.Return on average assets and return on average equity were 1.43% and 15.75%, respectively, for 2004, versus 1.29% and 17.23% for the prior year.

Ohio Insurance Department Saves Consumers Nearly $7M

Electronic Tax Filing Systems Available in Pennsylvania
Tuesday, January 25, 2005HARRISBURG, Pa. -- The Pennsylvania Department of Revenue has mailed tax forms to the 5.6 million taxpayers who file state Personal Income Tax returns, according to Gregory C. Fajt, secretary of revenue. The three primary state tax forms are the 2004 PA-40 Tax Booklet, the Fast File Booklet and the Payment Voucher Letter.The type of form taxpayers receive is based on how they filed their 2003 tax returns. Last year, Fajt said, about 2.25 million taxpayers, or 40% of all taxpayers, filed their tax return by phone or online.
