Tuesday.So are the downtowns of many cities with nearby urban campuses, they said. What can set downtown Youngstown and YSU apart, Morrison said, is even closer cooperation between YSU's Campus 2010 planners and the city's Youngstown 2010 planners."YSU does its planning. The city does its planning. There needs to be closer cooperation," Morrison stated.

Wednesday, January 26, 2005YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- Business and residential customers of FirstEnergy will receive a discount on electric rates through December 2006 under an agreement approved yesterday by the city's Board of Control.The agreement, an amendment to the current aggregated group agreement with the city, calls for residential customers to receive a discount of 6% and commercial customers a discount of 4% on the rates approved by the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio through February 2006.

This is the highest percentage of CFOs anticipating economic expansion in the survey's seven-year history.While upbeat about the overall U.S. economy, only 44% of CFOs expect the U.S. manufacturing sector to expand in 2005, down significantly from 53% last year and 67% the year before.
