Much of the talk is about leading actors such as Jamie Foxx, Clint Eastwood and Johnny Depp. For me the choice is simple -- Don Cheadle in Hotel Rwanda.Cheadle plays Paul Rusesabagina, assistant manager for a Sabena-operated hotel in the capital city of Kigali during the bloody civil war between Hutus and Tutsis that left a million Rwandans dead in the summer of 1994.I recall some of the images shown on ABC's Nightline.

McKelvey to remove the gag order he acknowledged Feb. 3 that would keep all city employees from responding to the reporters' questions related to city business.The suit, filed Feb. 24 in the Youngstown courthouse of U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, seeks a preliminary injunction to prohibit McKelvey from enforcing his gag order until federal Judge Peter C.

It remains as bad an answer as ever. If you believe establishing a state lottery solved the funding needs of Ohio's public school system, you likely believe casinos are just what governments need to cure deficits.Allowing casinos is an answer, not a solution.Given this region's history of organized crime, we are even more skeptical of the promises of casinos. We base our argument not on whether gambling is moral, immoral or amoral.

"45,497 Concealed Carry Licenses Issued to Ohioans"
Tuesday, March 01, 2005"COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio sheriffs issued more than 45,000 licenses to carry concealed handguns since April 8, 2004, when the state law went into effect, according to the first annual licensing report issued by state Attorney General Jim Petro. Last year, Ohio sheriffs issued 45,497 regular licenses to carry concealed weapons, Petro said. The sheriffs issued 65 temporary emergency licenses, which allow a person who submits evidence of imminent danger to receive a non-renewable 90-day license to carry a concealed handgun.
