Mahoning Commissioners Get Input on Sales Tax Proposal
Tuesday, January 14, 2014YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- A local community organizer argued that Mahoning County should look to area businesses -- particularly those that have received tax abatements from Youngstown or the county -- before going to taxpayers for additional sales tax funds.
No business owners where among the handful of individuals who spoke out in support of or opposed to the sales tax proposals, or for that matter appeared to be among the more than 50 individuals who attended Monday’s hearing on proposed county sales taxes. The hearing was the second held conerning the tax proposal.

GM Introduces Canyon Midsize Truck at Auto Show

When it goes on sale this year, the Canyon will give GMC the only three-truck lineup in the industry, GM said.
