Dollar General to Open Market Street Store Feb. 1

2013 Second-Busiest Year at Akron-Canton Airport
Tuesday, January 28, 2014GREEN, Ohio -- A total of 1,723,956 passengers flew into and from the Akron-Canton Airport last year, making 2013 the second-best year in its history, reports Rick McQueen, president and CEO. Only 2012 was busier with more than 1.8 million customers choosing the airport.
"Although we were down slightly compared to 2012, our low fares and relaxing airport experience continue to draw travelers from throughout the region," McQueen said Monday. "We expect 2014 to be another top-five year as well."

Cattron-Theimeg Eyes Moving to Warren
Monday, January 27, 2014YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- Sharpsville, Pa.-based Cattron-Theimeg Inc., a subsidiary of Laird Technologies, is considering whether to move its global headquarters and manufacturing operations to Warren, a state agency announced today.
The Ohio Tax Credit Authority approved a 55%, nine-year job creation tax credit for the company Monday. The project is expected to create 55 full-time jobs and $3 million in payroll in addition to the company's $9.5 million payroll, the authority reported.
Blue Racer Midstream Lands Utica Customers
Monday, January 27, 2014DALLAS -- Blue Racer Midstream LLC, a joint venture between Dominion and Caiman Energy II, announced today that it has entered into long-term agreements with some of the leading oil and gas producers now operating in eastern Ohio's Utica shale.
Blue Racer reported that it has signed agreements with producers Chesapeake Energy Inc., Eclipse Resources, Hess Corp., Total Gas & Power North America, Rex Energy Corp. and EnerVest.
Community Health Systems Completes HMA Purchase

Locally, CHS owns ValleyCare Health System of Ohio. Its Mahoning Valley operations include Northside Medical Center in Youngstown, Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren and Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital in Howland.
USI to Acquire Wells Fargo's Boardman Office, 41 Others
Monday, January 27, 2014YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Mahoning Valley office of Wells Fargo Insurance, 8561 Market St. in Boardman, is one of 42 Wells Fargo offices nationwide that will be sold to USI Insurance Services.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed; it’s expected to take effect in the second quarter.
“All Wells Fargo team members who are actively working” at the offices to be sold “at the time the transaction closes will be offered continuous employment by USI,” Wells Fargo said in its announcement.
