Imbibe Operator Plans High-End Beer Bar

Covelli Center Ticketmaster Deal Means More Money
Friday, November 09, 2012YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The city could realize an additional $50,000 annually from ticket sales for events at the Covelli Centre under a new five-year agreement with Ticketmaster LLC, the arena's ticketing agent.
The new deal, approved Thursday by the city’s Board of Control, adds significantly to the bottom line of the arena’s operations, said Eric Ryan, executive director of the Covelli Centre. Ryan’s company, JAC Management, has been managing the city-owned property for Youngstown since October 2007.

More Permits Issued to Hilcorp in Lawrence County
Thursday, November 08, 2012YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Three more new permits for horizontal wells have been issued to Houston-based Hilcorp Energy Co., in Lawrence County, Pa. records show.
Hilcorp was awarded three permits Nov. 2 that allow it to drill horizontal wells in Mahoning Township, according to new data posted on the website of Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.
The three new wells are to be drilled in the Utica shale formation on the Leeper property, records show.
Brown, Political, Business Leaders Assess Election Results

Brown, speaking to reporters on a conference call Wednesday morning, remarked that Republican strategist Karl Rove, whose American Crossroads was among the groups targeting Brown for defeat, “doesn’t know Ohio as well as he thinks he does” and his brand of politics was “pretty discredited” in Ohio Tuesday.
