Hagan to Introduce Prescription Drug Legislation
Wednesday, August 11, 2004COLUMBUS, Ohio -- State Sen. Robert Hagan (D-Youngstown) today announced he will introduce legislation that would allow state and local government to purchase prescription drugs from outside the United States for use by their employees.The legislation will be modeled after similar initiatives taking place in Minnesota, North Dakota, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Wisconsin, the state senator said.

Wednesday, August 11, 2004PITTSBURGH -- Passenger traffic at Pittsburgh International Airport was 8.3% greater in June than May, 1,294,030 passengers traveling through the airport in June compared to 1,194,921 in May, the Allegheny County Airport Authority reports.Additionally, the June Scheduled Airline Traffic Report, compiled by the Allegheny County Airport Authority, shows that traffic on airlines other than US Airways continued to grow, showing an increase of 19.2% through June. Tuesday, August 10, 2004"WASHINGTON -- A shortage of cement and other key building materials looms as the biggest threat to the dynamic housing market that has produced record levels of new home construction in the United States, according to a recent survey conducted by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB)."A nationwide survey conducted in July shows that builders are reporting shortages of cement, gypsum wallboard, oriented strand board [OSB], steel framing and insulating materials," said Jerry Howard, executive vice president and NAHB's chief executive officer.
