" PITTSBURGH -- Passenger traffic at Pittsburgh International Airport was 8.3% greater in June than May, 1,294,030 passengers traveling through the airport in June compared to 1,194,921 in May, the Allegheny County Airport Authority reports.Additionally, the June Scheduled Airline Traffic Report, compiled by the Allegheny County Airport Authority, shows that traffic on airlines other than US Airways continued to grow, showing an increase of 19.2% through June. "As we move into the summer vacation season we expect to see passenger traffic increase," says Kent G. George, executive director of the airport authority.
