Chesapeake Energy Confirms SEC 'Informal Inquiry'

ODNR Issues Drilling Permit in Columbiana County
Wednesday, May 02, 2012COLUMBUS, Ohio -- In Columbiana and Carroll counties, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources last week issued five horizontal drilling permits to Chesapeake Exploration LLC.
In Columbiana County, Chesapeake was awarded a horizontal drilling permit on the Trebilcock South property in Hanover Township, the 10th permit for that township, and the Grubbs property in Elkrun Township, the third permit there.
There are now 31 horizontal drilling permits issued in Columbiana.
