Online Holiday Sales to Reach $21.6 Billion in November and December

And this month and next, consumers are expected to spend a whopping $21.6 billion online for gifts, according to JupiterResearch. The total represents a 19% increase over the two-month period last year.Online sales continue to experience double-digit increases versus uneven growth offline, primarily due to the growing number of online buyers; 86 million U.S. residents are expected to make holiday purchases online this year compared to 73 million last year, an 18% increase.

Tuesday, November 02, 2004"YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- Saleationships, a three-month-old portfolio company of the Youngstown Business Incubator, will receive the State of Ohio's Emerging Technology Award in recognition of ODT3, the firm's browser-based software product for hospitals and medical practices. The award will be presented in Cincinnati Nov. 8 by Gov. Bob Taft.ODT3 is the nation's first software application to fully manage and track outpatient diagnostic testing, therapy, rehabilitation and other medically related services, according to a news release from the incubator.
