Tuesday, March 15, 2005YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- Robert Gomori Jr. and his father, Robert Gomori St., have opened a Two Men and a Truck franchise here. The franchise has five employees, and plans call for hiring six more by the end of this year.The Youngstown franchise is part of the Lansing, Mich.-based Two Men and a Truck International Inc. system that includes 152 locations in 27 states and almost 1,000 trucks.

20% of Warren/Youngstown Employers Plan to Hire
Monday, March 14, 2005"WARREN, Ohio -- Warren/Youngstown area employers expect to hire at a healthy pace during the second quarter of 2005, according to the Manpower Employment Outlook Survey released this morning.From April to June, 20% of the companies interviewed plan to hire more employees, while none expect to reduce their payrolls, said Dennis Yurco, Manpower spokesperson at the office here.
Vehicle Sales Rolling Right Along
Monday, March 14, 2005"LIBERTY -- Sales of new and used vehicles by dealers in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties is taking a turn for the better so far this year, according to a report from the Automobile Dealers Association of Eastern Ohio. Total sales are up by 457 units over January and February of 2004.The biggest gain comes in the used car category, with 3,046 units sold year-to-date compared with 2,798 for the two-month period last year.
