Foreclosure Rate Drops in Mahoning Valley
Wednesday, August 28, 2013YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- The rate of foreclosures in the Youngstown-Warren-Boardman metropolitan statistical area fell roughly 1% in June compared to the same month in 2012, reports CoreLogic, a company that tracks and provides financial data for the real estate market.
Data show that the foreclosure rate was 3.58% versus 4.60% in June 2012.
The percentage of delinquencies more than 90 days past due on mortgage payments also decreased by a full point. In June, the 90 or more days delinquency rate fell to 7.36% from 8.36% a year earlier, CoreLogic reported.
