Cement Masons Seek Apprentice Applicants
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- The Mahoning, Trumbull, and Columbiana Counties Cement Masons joint apprenticeship program will accept applications for a class of cement masons/plasterers from Sept. 16-20 and Sept. 23-27, 9-11 a.m. and 2-4 p.m. Applications will be accepted at the office of the joint apprenticeship committee at The Builders Association, 1372 Youngstown-Kingsville Road SE, Vienna, Ohio 44473.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, high school graduate or equivalent, and be physically capable of performing work of the trade and able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical examination. Applicants must bring or be able to provide copies of their transcript of high school grades, military service certificate of completion (if applicable), and valid state driver’s license.
An aptitude test will be administered at the time of application. Selection of apprentices under this program shall be made on the basis of qualification alone and all applicants will be afforded equal opportunity under these standards without regard to race, color, creed, sex, or national origin.
