Wednesday, May 26, 2004PHILADELPHIA -- The law firm of Spector, Roseman & Kodroff P.C. has filed a securities class action lawsuit against Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Inc. in the United States District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina.Also named in the lawsuit are company President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman Scott Livengood, Chief Financial Officer Michael Phalen, former CFO Randy S. Avalon Inn & Resort Introduces The Chophouse
Wednesday, May 26, 2004HOWLAND TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- The Chophouse opened yesterday on the Avalon Inn & Resort property, replacing the OPUS twenty one restaurant, reports proprietor John Kouvas. The new restaurant, which focuses on grilled steaks, joins the Italian-inspired Ristorante Allora with head chef Jimmy Chieffo.The Chophouse is casual -- even jeans are welcome, Kouvas says. The atmosphere has a somewhat Southwestern feel, with cacti scattered around the space.
