Tri-State 1st Banc Reports Second Quarter Dividend
Friday, June 04, 2004EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio -- The board of directors of Tri-State 1st BancInc., parent company of 1st National Community Bank and GateminderCorp., has declared a cash dividend payable to its shareholders in theamount of 9 cents per share. The dividend is payable June 30 toshareholders of record June 10. This will be the second cash dividend paid in the year 2004 andrepresents a 2 cents or 28.6% increase from the cash dividend paymentsmade during the prior year period, according to Kevin Auglemyer, vicepresident and chief financial officer.

This year, 56% gave this answer.In April last year, 21% said their situation became worse in the previous five years.

As a result, the national unemployment rate remained unchanged at 5.6%, the government reported."May's increase of 248,000 payroll jobs exceeds market expectations and is the ninth straight month of job creation," said Elaine L. Chao, secretary of the U.S. Labor Department.

Rendell today issued a proclamation marking June 5 as "Smarty Jones Day" in Pennsylvania -- the third day that's been named in honor of the Kentucky Derby and Preakness winner who will compete for the Triple Crown in the Belmont Stakes on Saturday.
