BOARDMAN,Ohio -- Prima Health Care is expanding into the Salem area with this week's opening of its third Express Care location.

The Prima Express Care facility, at 564 E. Second St., opened Monday. Its hours of operation are weekdays, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Foreclosures Depress Housing Starts, Prices

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Home foreclosures decreased dramatically in 2011. Still, some industry experts are cautioning that this is not a reflection of improvements in the housing market, but a result of legal, process and "robo-signing" issues.

At the 2012 International Builders' Show here, Ed Sullivan, chief economist for the Portland Cement Association, which represents cement companies in the United States and Canada, said that the 1.9 million foreclosures reported in 2011 is understated by more than one million due to the processing delays.

Fastsigns Acquires Bedford Heights Shop

BOARDMAN, Ohio -- Jay Summer, president of Fastsigns of Boardman, is purchasing the existing Fastsigns location in Bedford Heights. The acquisition, effective Feb. 13, will allow the company to serve a market ranging from Youngstown along the turnpike corridor to southeast Cleveland.

Total Steel Import Permit Tons Up 21% in January

WASHINGTON -- Total steel import permit applications for January totaled 2,691,000 net tons. This is a 21% increase from December 2011, according to the American Iron and Steel Institute. The figures are based on the U.S. Commerce Department's most recent steel import data.
