Ltd. have formally established a newjoint venture company, GE Honda Aero Engines LLC, which is pursuing the launchof Honda's HF118 turbofan engine in the light business jet market. The newcompany will begin operating near the end of this year in Cincinnati.The definitive agreement creating the joint company wassigned yesterday by David Calhoun, president and chief executive officer of GETransportation, and Takeo Fukui, president and CEO of Honda Motor Co., at theNational Business Aviation Association conference here.
"BOC to Supply Hydrogen to BP, Sunoco Refineries in Toledo"
Tuesday, October 12, 2004"MURRAY HILL, N.J. -- BOC, a supplier of hydrogen and other gases to the global refining industry that has operations in the Mahoning Valley, will build a world scale hydrogen and utilities complex to supply BP and Sunoco oil refineries in Toledo, Ohio, officials announced earlier today. The complex will be capable of supplying over 120 million standard cubic feet a day of hydrogen (H2) to the Sunoco and BP refineries and to other potential customers in the region.

Specialty Steel Imports Grab Bigger Handful of U.S. Market Share
Tuesday, October 12, 2004WASHINGTON -- Demand for specialty steel and individual product lines is up, but imported specialty products continued to tighten their grip on the U.S. market share for the first seven months of this year, according to the Specialty Steel Industry of North America.U.S. specialty steel consumption increased 8% to 1,641,864 tons in January through July 2004 compared with the same 2003 period, according to data released yesterday. The increase, however, did not offset a 14% year-on-year hike in imports to 449,187 tons. Consequently, domestic specialty steel producers lost 27% U.S.
Dell to Open Distribution Center in Ohio
Tuesday, October 12, 2004ROUND ROCK, Texas -- West Chester, Ohio, is the site of Dell Inc.'s new distribution center, the computer manufacturer's second facility expansion in the United States this year, officials announced earlier today. The center will support Dell's printer and computer accessories business.In July, Dell officials announced a customer contact center in Oklahoma.The Ohio center, scheduled to open in November, will be managed and operated in a partnership between Dell and APL Logistics of Oakland, Calif. The facility is expected to employ approximately 250 within the first year of operation.
