The moment my husband, Jack, and I passed through the doors of the International Exposition Center, our senses were assaulted by bright lights, gigantic blinking video displays, voices projected over P-A systems and the smells of pizza and cinnamon-tinged baked goods. More to the point, though, was the electricity that seemed to emanate from the crowd; we heard it in their voices and saw it in their smiles as they rushed to locate whatever model they came to find.

AT&T Invests More than $50M in Mahoning Valley
Friday, March 07, 2014YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- AT&T invested more than $50 million in wireless and wired networks in the Mahoning Valley from 2011 through 2013, the company reports.
To advance its Project Velocity IP, an investment plan to expand and enhance its wireless and wired IP broadband networks, AT&T in 2013 made 83 network upgrades in the Youngstown area. These consisted of new cell sites, the addition of wireless and wired network capacity and new broadband network connections.
