McClendon’s AEP Pays $1.75B for Utica, Marcellus Leaseholds
Tuesday, June 10, 2014OKLAHOMA CITY -- Aubrey McClendon’s American Energy–Utica LLC, an affiliate of American Energy Partners LP, says it has signed agreements to acquire approximately 27,000 net acres of leasehold in Monroe County, Ohio, from East Resources, Inc. and an unnamed private company. At closing, the properties are expected to have net production of approximately 40 million cubic feet of natural gas equivalent per day, the company said.
Manufacturers Needed to Host Teachers for Workplace Program

The initiative, supported by the Oh-Penn’s Pathways to Competitiveness Project, runs from June 20 to Aug. 8.
Educator in the Manufacturing Workplace is an opportunity for companies to open their doors and allow teachers to see how what they teach applies to manufacturing as well as validate to their students the importance of showing up for work on time every day.

Outlook for Restaurant Job Growth Best in 2 Years
Tuesday, June 10, 2014WASHINGTON -- The restaurant industry continued to register robust job growth in May as the economy surpassed its pre-recession employment peak, the National Restaurant Association says. Restaurant operators' outlook for hiring staff rose to its highest level in two years.

Eligible applicants include Pennsylvania counties that have adopted ordinances authorizing the imposition of an impact fee and have unconventional gas wells.
