Eastern Gateway Ranked 10th for Enrollment Growth
Monday, January 19, 2015STEUBENVILLE, Ohio -- Eastern Gateway Community College is the nation’s 10th fastest growing public two-year college with an enrollment between 2,500 and 4,999, the college reports.
The rankings, compiled annually by the trade journal Community College Week, calculates the percent change in headcounts from year to year. The national publication’s most recent report, based on fall 2013 enrollments, shows Eastern Gateway tied with South Louisiana Community College for the No. 10 spot in its category.

Home Sales Last Year Show Modest Gain from 2013

SuperBrew Beer Tasting Event Jan. 24 in New Castle
Friday, January 16, 2015NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- New Englander Banquet Center in New Castle, Pa., will host the sixth annual SuperBrew craft beer tasting Jan. 24.
Seventy-four craft beers from more than 30 national and local microbreweries will sampled, including 29 made by home brewers, as well as food, 50/50 raffle and live entertainment.
Money raised by the event will be donated to the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. Last year's event raised more than $64,000. This year's fundraising goal is $75,000
Businesses Move to Some Form of Cloud Computing

This year alone, Microsoft says, it will conduct one million audits of companies that use Office and charge those who don’t use the cloud-based Office 365 more for the software.
