Kent Trumbull Hosts Inaugural Volunteer Fair April 10
WARREN, Ohio -- Students, faculty and staff of Kent State University at Trumbull in Champion Township will have the opportunity meet nonprofit agencies and learn about volunteer and internship opportunities April 10.
That’s the date of the inaugural 2013 Spring Volunteer Fair from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Classroom/Administration Building here.
Among the goals of the fair are linking students to local organizations for volunteer and internship opportunities, serving the community by offering organizations the opportunity to recruit volunteers at the campus, answering questions students, faculty or staff members have about the experiential learning requirement and alternative spring break opportunities at Kent State University and providing students and local organizations an opportunity to network.
Representatives from nonprofit and nongovernmental agencies will be on hand, including:
