Seven Seventeen Cuts Ribbon at New Hubbard Office
HUBBARD, Ohio -- A ribbon-cutting ceremony this morning at Seven Seventeen Credit Union's new Hubbard Office, located in the Baldine Plaza at 627 W. Liberty St., marked the grand opening of the financial institution's newest office. "This new facility demonstrates our long-term commitment to providing quality, state-of-the-art, member-focused financial products and services to the people in the Hubbard area and throughout the Mahoning Valley," said Gary Soukenik, president and chief executive officer. "Not only will this location better serve our members, the facility will be like nothing anyone in this area has ever seen."Developed in collaboration with Baker, Bednar & Associates and Triad Architects, the Hubbard location is designed to be an interactive and entertaining experience, bringing the member closer to the expanded list of services and products provided by Seven Seventeen, company representatives said. The 3,500 square-foot retail outlet and lobby design incorporates new technologies designed to enhance the member experience through information centers with Internet access, making available a wealth of useful information while still retaining face-to-face personal attention. The unique design does away with traditional teller lines, company officials noted. Instead, members are able to walk right up to member service representatives at the new, high-tech cash service centers for a more personal face-to-face interaction. The member's money will be dispensed automatically from these centers for faster service. This also provides greater security since tellers do not have cash drawers. In addition, flat screen computer monitors swivel so members have the ability to see their account information. The new environment also provides a comfortable setting where members can relax and review their financial information while enjoying a refreshment."The innovative design provides a more personal and interactive approach to providing financial services," Soukenik said. "The environment is more like a contemporary retail store, rather than a traditional financial lobby. It is designed so that each visit is welcoming and even fun for our members."The new branch, constructed by Kriedler Construction, also features a four lane drive-thru and drive-up ATM for added member convenience. This office replaces the Hubbard facility that was located inside the Jugenheimer Plaza. The credit union has a variety of activities this week marking the opening of the new branch. Established in 1957, Seven Seventeen Credit Union has nine offices serving Trumbull, Mahoning, Columbiana, Stark and Portage counties. Anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in the Mahoning Valley, as well as most of central Stark County, is now able to open an account with Seven Seventeen."
