Second Bancorp Declares 19-Cent Dividend on Common Stock
WARREN, Ohio -- Second Bancorp Inc. has declared a dividend of 19 cents per common share payable July 6 to shareholders of record June 29. The dividend is unchanged from the previous quarter.The dividend is payable after Second National's merger with Sky Financial Group Inc., Bowling Green, scheduled for July 1 and will be paid under "dividend coordination" language in the two financial services corporations' agreement and plan of merger announced Jan. 8. That language protects Second National shareholders from the loss of a quarterly dividend with completion of the merger, Second National said in a prepared statement.Second Bancorp is a financial services company with $2.1 billion in assets that provides a full range of commercial and consumer banking, wealth management, insurance and investment products in nine counties in northeastern Ohio.Sky Financial Group is also a financial services company with assets exceeding $12 billion that has offices in Ohio, southern Michigan, western Pennsylvania and the panhandle of West Virginia.Visit Second Bancorp at www.secondbancorp.com "
