YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- Saleationships, a three-month-old portfolio company of the Youngstown Business Incubator, will receive the State of Ohio's Emerging Technology Award in recognition of ODT3, the firm's browser-based software product for hospitals and medical practices. The award will be presented in Cincinnati Nov. 8 by Gov. Bob Taft.ODT3 is the nation's first software application to fully manage and track outpatient diagnostic testing, therapy, rehabilitation and other medically related services, according to a news release from the incubator. Tracking can be done in any field or fields including by patient name, chart number, referred organization, doctor, service type or result. The software also fully integrates with the latest hardware technology, such as wireless tablet PCs, so that tracking can begin right at the patient point of care. Most importantly, the software provides a secure audit trail of medical services ordered and given, a must in today's environment of rising medical malpractice litigation, the release said.According to the company's Web site, ther products available include Outpatient Surgery Information Xchange (OSIX), which was designed as middleware to simplify the task of scheduling surgeries for both the surgical practice as well as surgery centers, and Checkwriter, which allows companies to ask for payment over the phone with no transaction fees.Visit Saleationships: www.saleationships.com"
