Research Links Employee Satisfaction, Profits"

The key to employee satisfaction is organizational communication -- both upward and downward in the company.James Oakley, a Krannert School of Management assistant professor of marketing, surveyed 100 employees of American companies and investigated the companies' corporate culture. He said the results showed "a direct link between employee satisfaction and customer satisfaction and between customer satisfaction and improved financial performance." <more>"
