Ohio Police and Fire Pension Fund Picks Mellon
RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J. -- Mellon Financial Corp.'s Human Resources & Investor Solutions business has been selected by the Ohio Police and Fire Pension Fund to provide consulting services for the fund's defined benefit pension and retiree health care plans. HR&IS will provide actuarial valuations, an experience study, legislative presentations and other services for the pension plan, which covers more than 50,000 total participants.In addition, HR&IS will provide plan design consulting and funding projections for the retiree health plan, according to James D. Aramanda, Mellon vice chairman and head of HR&IS. Estabrook, OP&F executive director. OP&F is one of five state pension funds in Ohio, with assets approaching $9 billion.
