National City Celebrates 'Financial Freedom Week'
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- National City Bank's 17 branches in Trumbull and Mahoning counties next week will offer bank customers and visitors free financial consultations on planning for retirement. The consultations are part of a new promotion the bank calls "financial freedom week." Each branch will designate one day next week as a customer appreciation day and provide free hotdogs and other refreshments. Donations made by customers will be sent to the Second Harvest Food Bank in Mahoning County and to Door Post Ministries Inc. Food Bank in Trumbull County."During this time of the year, we remember and celebrate our cherished freedoms," says Lee Ann Myers, assistant branch manager and licensed financial specialist at National City's Poland office. "Our bank wants to provide information to ensure the freedom of a prosperous retirement. At the same time, we hope to have some fun with our barbecue and collect much-needed funds for the local food banks. With everyone's support, we hope to make this special week an annual National City tradition." Myers and Stephanie Kibler, the assistant manager at National City's Youngstown-Poland Road branch are committee chairmen for "financial freedom week" in Mahoning County.
