InfoCision Announces Leadership Changes
AKRON, Ohio -- Gary L. Taylor, owner and founder of InfoCision Management Corp., is taking on the role of chairman of the board for the Fairlawn-based teleservices company.He has appointed former Chief Operating Officer Carl Albright to succeed him as president."By relinquishing my day-to-day responsibilities as president and chief executive officer, I will be better able to focus on the most important aspects of InfoCision's long-term growth," Taylor announced during a ceremony at the company's tech center here.This long-term planning will encompass overall strategic growth for the company's commercial and nonprofit clients, he explained.Albright (left) is a 13-year veteran of InfoCision. He has served the company in many roles, from entry-level call center supervisor to senior vice president of call center operations. As COO, he oversaw the company's sales, marketing, call-center and information technology operations.For 22 years, Taylor served as InfoCision's president and CEO. When he founded the company in 1982, he operated it as a telemarketing-consulting firm out of his Akron-area home. Since then, InfoCision has become the third largest privately held teleservices company and eighth largest outbound call center organization in the world, with offices and 10 call centers in Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia."
