Jameson's New Wilmington Center Marks 20 Years
NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- The Jameson New Wilmington Community Health Center will celebrate 20 years in business July 3 with special attractions and recognitions. The celebration will take place at the Independence Day Concert by the Lake at Westminster College in New Wilmington.
Doug Danko, FACHE, Jameson Health System’s president and CEO, will accept a citation commemorating the longevity and success of the New Wilmington facility from state Sen. Elder Vogel, R-47 Pa., to kick off the celebration.
New Wilmington primary care physicians Drs. Peter Barszczowski and James Gardner III will be in attendance to meet and greet at the Jameson Health System display booth. Attractions for children including face painting, a duck pond fishing game and health education will be at the Jameson Health tables beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Westminster College. Health education and information on new physicians and services will also be on display.
The center, located on Market Street, is available for all walk-in laboratory, digital imaging/x-ray services and EKGs. Free blood pressure screenings are provided as well as community wellness education and free health screenings. The Center is open for service Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:15 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
