First National Bank Begins Construction on Seven Fields Office
HERMITAGE, Pa. -- First National Bank of Pennsylvania is spending $1.5 million to build a new branch in Seven Fields, Butler County, that should open in September.Paul Puleo, president and chief executive offficer of the bank's southern region, will have oversight responsibility. "Butler County is one of the fastest-growing areas in western Pennsylvania," said Stephen Gurgovits, president and CEO of F.N.B. Corp., parent of First National Bank. "This branch makes us more convenient to our many clients who already live and do business there, and positions us to offer F.N.B.'s special brand of personal service to the other residents and businesses in the region."First National has a branch in Butler County in Sarver. Its pending merger with First National Bank of Slippery Rock will add four more branches in Butler County -- in Slippery Rock, Prospect, Portersville, and Harrisville.First National Bank has 123 branches in 22 counties in western Pennsylvania and northeastern Ohio.The Seven Fields branch will offer a full array of commercial services including cash management and business lending and wealth management services in addition to consumer banking products, a First National spokeswoman said.Architects for the project are Burt, Hill, Kosar and Rittleman, and the contractor is R.E.
