Everything Old is New Again at YSU
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- Is an old photograph or catalog from Youngstown State University collecting dust in your closet? Consider donating it to the university, which is collecting memorabilia from and about Youngstown College, Youngstown University and YSU for a 2008 centennial celebration, according to an article in the Summer/Fall 2004 issue of Youngstown State University magazine.According to the article, the collection of old and rare materials will be part of the William F. Maag Jr. Library's first archival program, and university archivist Vic Fleischer is looking for the following items:University publications such as advertisements, recruitment materials, event programs, catalogs, bulletins and newsletters.Photographs of campus events.Architectural drawings of campus buildings and landscapes or maps.News and events on audio, video or film.Pins, buttons, scrapbooks, pennants, banners and other memorabilia.Individuals who have an item or items for consideration are invited to contact Fleischer at (330) 941-3847.Visit Youngstown State University: www.ysu.edu"
