Turning Technologies Reports 440% Sales Growth in '04
"YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- Turning Technologies LLC, a developer of group response technology for use in education and business, reports sales increased 440% in 2004 compared to 2003. In 2003, Turning Technologies says it increased sales by 360% compared to 2002. The rapid growth of the high-tech company, located in the Youngstown Business Incubator, was cited earlier this week by Gov. Bob Taft is his State of the State address."In only three years, our products have become firmly established as the premier offerings in our target markets," said the company's chief executive officer, Mike Broderick. "We are now being recognized as the industry leader. We expect this exponential growth to continue through 2005 and beyond." Turning Technologies' group response software, called TurningPoint, integrates into Microsoft Office products. The next generation of the product will be released later this year, Broderick said.Group response technology allows participants to respond to questions electronically using PDAs, laptops, or keypads with real-time responses, he explained. Presenters can collect and post results in real-time, encouraging interaction, while increasing attentiveness and comprehension in the classroom.
