Easter Seals Lauds Century 21 as All-Time Top Contributor
"ORLANDO, Fla. -- Century 21 System employees contributed more than $4.7 million to the Easter Seals Society in 2004, surpassing the global real estate franchisor's national fund-raising goal for 2004 by nearly 6%, says James E. Williams.Williams is the president and chief executive officer of Easter Seals Inc. Since 1979, Century 21 has raised more $80 million on behalf of Easter Seals and stands as the organization's all-time leading contributor, he said.During the real-estate franchisor's convention in Orlando, Fla., Easter Seals and Century 21 Real Estate LLC honored the top 21 Easter Seals fund-raisers in the system's network of offices."For more than a quarter-century, the men and women of the Century 21 System have pledged their support to Easter Seals and to the millions of people with disabilities that it assists everyday," said Thomas R. Kunz, president and CEO of Century 21.
