"Area Car Dealers Move Over 4,000 Vehicles in November"
"VIENNA, Ohio -- Mahoning Valley auto dealers sold 4,416 vehicles in November, according to the Automobile Dealers Association of Eastern Ohio's monthly report. Dealers sold 1,513 new cars and 766 new trucks for the month, and 1,586 used cars and 551 used trucks. Auto dealers report selling 53,772 vehicles so far this year, down from 54,712 for the first 11 months of 2003. Youngstown Buick/Pontiac/GMC led Mahoning County and the three-county region in sales for the month, selling 343 vehicles in November. The dealership has sold 4,632 vehicles year-to-date, up from 4,396 for the first 11 months of 2003. Greenwood Chevrolet sold 227 last month and 3,188 so far for 2004, down from 3,376 for the same period in 2003.Diane Sauer Chevrolet led Trumbull County dealers with 161 vehicles sold last month. It reports year-to-date sales of 1,774, down from 2,054 last year. With 130 vehicles sold in November, Cole-Valley Motor Co. edged out Pace Pontiac, which sold 129, for second place among county dealers. Year to date, Pace has sold 1,821, down slightly from 1,891 vehicles sold during the first 11 months of 2003.In Columbiana County, Stadium GM Superstore reported vehicle sales of 263 for November and 2,333 year-to-date, down from 2,691 for the same time last year. Columbiana Buick/Oldsmobile/Cadillac posted sales of 123 for the month and 1,484 year-to-date, down from 1,621 for the same time last year. "
