Winner Aviation Expands Maintenance to New Hangar
VIENNA, Ohio -- Winner Aviation, based at the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport, has expanded its maintenance operations into a hangar the company acquired in 2011. The 14,000-square-foot building provides Winner an additional 12,000 square feet of hangar space and 2,000 square feet of office space.
The additional hangar space is needed for its growing operation and will help support customers’ needs, said Rick Hale, president and CEO. The new hangar will enable Winner to accommodate light to mid-size passenger jets as well as turbine aircraft for maintenance repairs and inspections.
“This expansion is the first phase in what the company hopes will be a progression of facility improvements designed to provide more aviation services to northeastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania for commercial, corporate and private segments of the industry,” Hale said in a statement.
Winner Aviation is a full-service fixed-base operator with a charter department, aircraft management and maintenance repair organization at the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport. The facility is made up of jet, turbine, and piston service centers along with an avionics repair and installation shop, an engine repair and overhaul shop and a full-service parts department.
