Los Gallos Opens its 4th Area Restaurant Today

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Los Gallos Mexican Restaurant and Sports Cantina will open its fourth Mahoning County location today, at 920 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
A grand opening celebration is set for June 2 at the restaurant, situated at the Interstate 80-Route 46 interchange. The event will be a fiesta featuring Los Gallos exclusive band The Hernandez Boys (also known as The Hern Brothers), the Los Gallos Senoritas, Los Gallos’ own “Most Interesting Man,” Los Gallos flavor cupcakes made by Bartell’s Cupcakery, and an electronic bull for patrons to try to ride.
Israel Zambrano opened the first Los Gallos in Boardman in 2004, bringing with him four cooks and family recipes. After being in business for three years and acquiring a liquor license, his business spiked tremendously. At this time he decided to start reinvesting in his business and opened his second location in Bedford, Ohio and a banquet facility next to the original Boardman Los Gallos.
In 2010, Zambrano opened his third location in North Lima, and in 2011 the fourth and largest Los Gallos opened its doors in Struthers, a three-floor restaurant that can seat about 500 people located above the live entertainment venue known as The Cellar.
