HBK Sorce Financial Now HBKS Wealth Advisors
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- HBK Sorce Financial has changed its name to HBKS Wealth Advisors. Christopher M. Allegretti, CEO, said the change was mandated by a need to more accurately portray the firm’s business as it continues to expand into new markets.
Since the 2001 merger between The Sorce Financial Group, Erie, Pa., and Hill, Barth & King, a regional accounting firm with more than 10,000 clients throughout the United States, the wealth advisory firm has expanded into Ohio and Florida as well as throughout western Pennsylvania. The firm also has added licensed financial professionals in a wide range of financial disciplines. “Now as we expand into new markets and continue to grow this business, we need a name that has more of a national than local feel,” Allegretti noted.
The name change is not accompanied by changes in structure or management, nor does it reflect a change in how the company conducts its practice, he added. "Growth allows us to continue investing in technology and other resources, to continue innovating, to continue broadening our wealth advisory services and to continue attracting talented financial professionals to our team,” he said.
HBKS Wealth Advisors was established in 2001 with the merger of The Sorce Financial Group with the regional accounting firm, Hill, Barth & King. HBKS Wealth Advisors works with affluent individuals and families to manage their wealth.
