Bolton Elected President of Manchester Newman & Bennett
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- Stephen T. Bolton was elected president of Manchester Newman & Bennett Thursday.
The law firm is the result of the merger earlier this month (READ STORY) of two prominent downtown law firms, Manchester, Bennett, Powers & Ullman and Newman, Olson & Kerr.
Bolton was president of the former Manchester Bennett firm.
Elected vice president was E. Carroll “Ted” Thornton, former president of Newman, Olson & Kerr.
Joseph Houser was elected treasurer and Leo J. Puhalla secretary.
The 20 principals from the two firms constitute Manchester Newman & Bennett, which has its main offices in the Commerce Building, 201 E. Federal St. A satellite office on Broad Street in Canfield is being relocated to 3635 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Manchester Newman has experienced lawyers who practice in fields such as business, labor and employment, banking, health care, real estate oil and gas and bankruptcy.
