Avalon Holdings Posts $100,000 Net Loss
WARREN, Ohio -- Avalon Holdings Corp., based in Howland Township, reported a first-quarter net loss of $100,000, or four cents per share Wednesday.
In comparison, the company incurred a net loss of $400,000, or 10 cents per share, for the first quarter of 2012.
Net operating revenues increased to $14.7 million compared with $10.9 million in the first quarter of last year.
Avalon Holdings Corp. provides waste management services to industrial, commercial, municipal and governmental customers in selected northeastern and midwestern U.S. markets and owns the Avalon Golf and Country Club, which operates golf courses and related real estate.
