Banana Republic Makes Appeal to Prime Outlets Customers
SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- A Banana Republic Factory Store will open Sept. 13 at Prime Outlets at Grove City, officials announced recently. Banana Republic occupies 11,776 square feet at store 100 and is the second store by GAP Inc. at the outlet mall, joining the GAP Outlet, said Michele Czerwinski, mall marketing manager.Since 1994, Gap Inc.'s Outlet division has extended the Gap, Banana Republic and Old Navy brands to a broader customer base. With more than 225 outlet stores for its three brands -- Gap, Banana Republic and Old Navy -- Gap Inc. offers styles designed and produced exclusively for the outlets in addition to product from it's brands, according to a news release from Prime Outlets. The Sept. 13 festivities will begin with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 9 a.m. To celebrate the grand-opening, Banana Republic will offer 30% off purchases through Sept. 29 at the Grove City location only, Czerwinski said. In addition, customers can register to win a $500 shopping spree, she said.Prime Outlets at Grove City is located at the intersection of I-79 and Route 208. The 528,324-square-foot outlet center offers everyday savings of 30% to 70% off full retail prices and features brand name retailers including Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store, The Gap Outlet, Mikasa, The Children's Place, and VF Outlet, Czerwinski said.Headquartered in Baltimore, Prime Retail is one of the largest owners of outlet centers in the United States, the news release said.Visit Prime Outlets at Grove City: www.primeoutlets.com"
