Things Remembered Center Holding Hiring Events Today
NORTH JACKSON, Ohio -- The Things Remembered Fulfillment and Distribution Center at 500 S. Bailey Road will hold an on-site job fair today to fill more than 200 seasonal positions. The job fair, one of two recruitment events taking place today, will run from 5 to 7 p.m.
Positions sought include engravers, embroidery machine operators, quality control and packing, and customer service.
Additional recruiting events are scheduled for noon to 3 p.m. today at the Trumbull County OhioMeansJobs office, 280 N. Park Ave., Suite 1, Warren, and 9:30 a.m. to noon Nov. 19 at the Mahoning County OhioMeansJobs office, 141 Boardman-Canfield Road, Boardman.
“We’re getting closer to our busiest season and we are looking for teammates who can work in a fast-paced environment, who are dedicated to be a memory maker for our customers,” said Joe Whittaker, Things Remembered production manager.
Seasonal employees receive full-time hours, are paid $8 per hour and are paid weekly. They also receive 40% off all purchases and are eligible to participate in incentives such as drawings, fun activities and employee-only sales.
"Taking a seasonal position now is a great way to earn some extra holiday cash," said Tracie Balentine, human resources manager. “It also gives you an opportunity to get into the company full time down the road and gain experience.”
In addition to the hiring events, individuals may also apply online for positions by visiting the Things Remembered website and clicking on employment opportunities.
