KENT, Ohio -- The Kent State University Alumni Association is seeking nominations for its alumni awards that recognize the recipients’ leadership, service, character and professional development. J

Five individual awards will be granted along with one student award, Joy Wesoloski, assistant director of alumni relations, said. Individuals can choose to nominate themselves as well as others.

The alumni association recognizes notable, accomplished graduates. “These awards not only bring distinction to the alumni who receive them, but to the university as they showcase the contributions Kent State graduates make to their professions and society,” Wesoloski said.

Nominations will be accepted until Dec. 31. Recipients will be notified next spring and recognized at the Alumni Awards Ceremony next fall.
